Meet Bre
Simply put, Bre is a huge movement nerd and feels lucky to be a movement teacher. She loves taking all of the knowledge she's gained over the years about the body, anatomy, and biomehcanics and transforming it into practical information for clients to help them eliminate pain, rehab from injuries, and develop/regain strength. She thrives working with clients who are curious, motivated, and who are working through chronic pain or injuries.
As mentioned in the previous Our Story page, Bre's career as a movement teacher began after she survived a mountaineering accident in 2010. While it oftentimes now feels as a crazy dream, having to endure such a long rehab process at only 25 years old, gave Bre a deep sense of knowing and being able to connect with clients who are also dealing with chronic pain or whom are frustrated by feeling as if their physical rehab process post injury did not go as planned. By working with several exceptional movement teachers along side her physical therapits, it was Pilates and the GYROTONIC® Method that helped Bre regain full mobility and strength without pain. While her accident that brought her to this work, it is her clients that keep her passionate about teaching.
Bre's credentials include: MSc Health & Exercise Science: Colorado State University, PhD in Health & Kinesiology with an emphasis on Cognitive & Motor Neuroscience: University of Utah, Comprehensive Certified Pilates Teacher via Balanced Body, Certified Level 1 & 2 GYROTONIC® Instructor including all accessory equipment (the Archway, GYROTONER®, Jumping-Stretching Board, and Leg Extension Unit), and Certified GYROKINESIS® teacher.
Forever grateful to those who have helped her along her teaching and healing journey, her teaching is infused with a deep sense of patience, curiosity, and joy.
