Hi, I’m Bre!

I help people move better, and can teach you to do the same!

Movement Design Lab was founded from my passion for movement and personal injury rehabilitation. As the only Pilates and GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM Method studio within the Yampa Valley, this work will take your running, skiing, cycling, hiking, climbing, and all around life beyond your expectations. With emphasis on teaching you how to truly move, you’ll enjoy increased strength, mobility, and ease of all movement.

What People Are SaYing

I have been working out with Bre for 5 years, initially Pilates and more recently, Gyrotonic. Not only is she a delight to be around, she is highly skilled and knowledgeable. I always feel better, mentally and physically, after spending an hour with her.

I have huge gratitude for you Bre and your studio. You have helped me through multiple injuries and we are now solving the conundrum of my back and pelvis, previously a painful mystery. Huzzah!

I adore you as a human, teacher, and friend (even if you don’t like truffle.)

— Rhiannon

I have been lucky enough to take advantage of the virtual sessions with Bre. As always it is a joy to spend the hour with Bre! She is able to guide and correct movements as easily in our virtual sessions as she does in the studio. She truly is amazing! These sessions have been a gift for my body and mind. I feel lighter and my body moves more freely after our sessions. I can’t recommend Movement Design Lab highly enough!

I love movement design lab because of the people, the space, the vibe, and my outcomes. It is a stunning and airy space that also feels like home. There is no other studio in Utah with this equipment, which seems to get me results faster than any other. But most of all, Bre gets knows my body and needs and tailors every session to me. Curiosity and extensive knowledge and experience inform the long-term treatment plan and exercises of the day. I get exactly what my body needs, in a calm and quiet place, along with learning and some fulfilling interpersonal connection. :-)

Movement Design Lab has gotten me back from multiple injuries (proximal humeral fracture, brachial plexus injury) and probably prevented many more. Virtual lessons are awesome. Still targeted to what my body needs and definitely helping the work from home kinks. Every class, whatever format, is personalized to what I need to work on to achieve my goals.

I love Movement Design Lab! I've been able to build a nice daily practice from movements I've learned in my lessons. I am sometimes frustrated by still not having the physical capabilities I would like after an injury three years ago. I keep coming in, though, and there keep being periodic break throughs. Coming to lessons also reminds me to pause and allow an upwelling of gratitude for the mobility and energy flow I do have.
